Working For Jorge Cruise

In March Jorge Cruise did an online coaching program targeting Women over the age of 40 for a specialized coaching program and the response they got overwhelmed the support staff available to handle the email support for the program. Looking for a way to help supplement their support staff, I was called by Jorge Cruise and asked to join the support staff for the course of the program as someone who’s had a lot of success with the Belly Fat Cure program and would be able to help handle the flow of emails from the clients who joined the program.

In a way the experience was like a hyper version of my own “Ask Ryan” page for Belly Fat Cure questions here on my own blog. I was helping several ladies with their questions regarding the Belly Fat Cure program and got some very interesting questions that I had to research to be able to answer them. Some questions were easy ones to answer and others were a bit more of a challenge. As a result of the experience I’ve developed a whole new level of appreciation for Kim, who was the support person when I originally went through the program and she fielded all the questions from me and the other members of the group I was a part of. Here I was a colleague for Kim and helping get those questions sent in answered as quickly as possible.

Back From Hiatus

Thank you to my many loyal blog readers for your patience during the an unexpected hiatus from being able to update this blog as I would have liked. Life suddenly got busy and a little complicated and time just didn’t seem to be available.

Some of the reason for the hiatus was due to a change in residence. I recently moved, and I’ll be exploring a little bit more about that in a separate post. Additionally, I was also asked by Jorge Cruise to join his team of experts on the Belly Fat Cure to assist with his online coaching program that began in March. So with moving and helping answer questions in regards to the Belly Fat Cure program, I was just too busy to maintain my blog.

In any case, things have settled down, and I am back, and what better way to get back into it by taking part in another one of Connie Ragen Green’s 30 Day Blogging challenges. For more information on Connie Ragen Green’s Blogging Challenge, click here. Continue reading Back From Hiatus

Sugar Free Yellow Layer Cake With Sugar Free Mountain Berry Filling

Layered Yellow Cake WholeThis week is a holiday week with no class for Jorge Cruise’s 12 Week Belly Fat Cure coaching program due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Some of the folks in the 12 week coaching program have elected to use the “free” week as an opportunity to present a recipe exchange on our respective blogs and I was invited to participate in the exchange.

Rather than give my Sugar Free Nanaimo Bars recipe yet another time, I thought maybe I’ll take a crack at something new. Even though my Sugar Free Nanaimo Bars are arguably the most amazing dessert creation I’ve ever made, I’ve posted it several times here on my blog. And since I find desserts to be next to impossible to get Belly Fat Cure compliant versions in a store bought form, I will offer a dessert recipe. Sugar Free entrées and side dishes aren’t so difficult to find and since I don’t consider myself a cook, I usually just get store bought versions of those.

Emotional Eating Can Hinder Weight Loss

Jorge CruiseLast night in Jorge Cruise‘s weekly video for the 12 week coaching plan for the Belly Fat Cure, Jorge spent a bit of time addressing the issue of emotional eating. This topic came up through a question from a program member.

Jorge stressed that when eating is a result of trying to fill an emotional needed, the nutrition of the food isn’t going to matter because the emotional need isn’t being met. So even if the food is the correct nutrition, eating while feeling highly emotional isn’t going to produce a satiated feeling that helps the brain know when to tell the body to stop eating. You become at risk of over eating when trying to eat while feeling angry, sad, depressed, anxious, stressed out, and more.

It’s best to try and calm down or try to neutralize the highly emotional state before sitting down to a meal. Maybe find some funny video clips on YouTube or download a comedy podcast from iTunes, just do something to change your state of mind so that when you do eat, you’re coming from a place where you will feel full from the meal. Raymond Aaron Adds A Video About The Power Of Mentoring

Raymond AaronLast week I mentioned that one of my mentor’s, Raymond Aaron, posted a free video that teaches how to eliminate procrastination in your life. (Click here to read that blog entry.) This week he’s added a new video that teaches about why it’s important to have mentors in your life and how you can achieve amazing things with the help of a mentor.

You might be thinking that you don’t need a mentor, but think about it for a moment. Every sports team has a coach, every movie and television show has a director, and every ship has its captain. Why? So that they can guide their team, film, show, or vessel successfully from the start to finish. Do you think Donald Trump has mentors? You bet he does. Anytime you want to learn something, you’re best bet is with the guidance of a mentor. But don’t let me try to sell you on the value of a mentor, hear about it from one of the world’s best success coaches, and he’s even going to teach it to you for free.
